Frankly, I'm surprised at the amount of advertising the new GT is in. The TV spot was all over the various college and NFL games last weekend. For a car that 1000 buyers worldwide will get a crack at, Ford is really leveraging it.
The whole Ford Performance lineup is and will continue to be integral to Ford's marketing. It's fortuitous that Ford endeavored on building all these bad ass performance vehicles at the same time performance became one of the chief motivations of younger buyers to spend actual $ on cars.
