It's a wet mess for sure.

Wet, Muddy and still a great time.

The GT Forum was well represented at the Petit Lemans in less than perfect weather. A real tribute to Dave, Bill, and Gary who made a long trip knowing the weather was going to be bad. Ford hospitality had Scott Pruitt, Joey Hand, Tommy Kendall and several Ford execs making presentations and answering questions. Camilo was a big hit with the crowd sharing stories and drawing pictures. The hospitality tent was first class and gave us a place to dry out as the rain never stopped for 2 days.

I picked out those shoes for Camilo at Target the night before. :lol He didn't want to destroy his new checkered flag Vans in the oceans of red Georgia clay.

See the VW between the F150s in the first pic...in and on the trailers behind those were the other three GTs. Two came home as clean as they started. One, Indy GT's, was on an open trailer.

Things to do while it's raining...

Great times and camaraderie despite the rain. Friday dinner was one of the more interesting that I've had in a while.

The Ford hospitality areas were life savers with all the rain. And the Ford Owners area was strategically located close to the bar. Hope Ford decides to come back next year. It's a much better deal than the other marques.

Glad everyone made the road trip. We promise better weather next time.

Bill

Good times despite the weather. Added a little color. :lol Too bad, they had the car there but couldn't bust it out! :frown But at least Gary won a sweet signed Sebring poster.

I'm in for next year and can't wait for Daytona.

I had to move things around but got the poster hung. I just told Indy GT "I never win anything" and was the next prize called.:lol

Pericak on side curtain detail. A funny "boooo" at the end.

And the car still has no mirrors. And that door sill width is HUGE.

Road Atlanta

Hey guys it was fun hanging with other GT owners. Weather sucked but the Atlanta GT owners took good care of us!

My car does need cleaning after the open trailer trip down and back in a lot of rain but at least I do not have to do under body cleaning with all the red Georgia clay. I will return and it was good to see Henry and Dave in the Ford paddock tent. Now on to Daytona....

Camillo was as always a crowd pleaser.... (and note the wheel detail to please the BBS guys who were at the event):biggrin
