Yes, VERY!!!!

It's really happening, exciting times for GT lovers.

cool photos!

Whew, takes my breath away.

The first photo is insane. I love the number 66 too!

Is the plywood at the bottom of the doors 1/2" or 3/4"? :)

Marine grade or standard?

I wonder if they'll have a "LeMans" livery on the street car. The ol' red, white and blue would look great--I'd be a buyer!

What ever that is,

It really takes away from the way the car looks with doors flipped up.

Doors look to be 16inches thick

All kidding aside, I believe that is the same early prototype car that was shown at LeMans. I'd bet it will have a full CF door in next iterations.

Yep, a little black paint would have helped for the photo shoot.

The first picture belongs framed in my Garage.

The car is the real deal, and it's already extremely fast. It'll be on it's way to France for the BoP test shortly.

Ever seen a wooden reference plank in Formula One?

Ever seen a wooden reference plank in Formula One?

Sure, but not typ, in that area of a car - usually at lowest point (skid pad) as I recall.

If that's really the case, body panels must be fully stressed members. :wink

I'm just sayin, it ain't the first time wood has been on a race car.

Any idea who took the pics? I really like the composition.

He's got some nice work out there - thanks!

Any chance we'll see this car at R10?

Skids

Pretty sure those are skids like on most real race cars. A wearable and replaceable item. Definitely not plywood. They can be of many different materials (jabrock, aluminum, and CF sometimes) for weight, weight distribution, friction, strength/stiffness and durability. The bottom of the doors appear on the ground line. They get painted only to see if and where the car is bottoming.
