Reached an agreement to buy a FGT...need opinions

Actually, I am the 3rd owner of my car and the Ford Racing muffler cracked along the upper left hand edge. Borla replaced it free (including shipping), even though I had no receipt and was not the original purchaser. I posted a message about it a few days ago. List price is now $2750, I believe.

I got a free replacement (not including installation) as the 2nd owner. I didn't tell Borla that. I just took some photos of the cracked weld and asked for advice. They sent me the last Ford Racing branded muffler in their inventory. The mufflers are now branded "Borla," because FRPP no longer sells them.

The GT guys are tops for a PPI

Nothing to add as far as the GT. Looks like a good purchase based on the info you provided.
Asked this in another thread, but PLEASE post some pics of the Singer!

Here you go:

Love it. Awesome cars. Any interior shots?

Not at the moment. The car is in production, the picture you see is actually a rendering of the paint for my appoval. The interior color is Spinneybeck PR32 which is a caramel color, wheels are matte nickel, exterior color is Blue Blood. A lot of the Singer's are pretty loud colors and I like those too, but for mine I wanted something more classy than modern.

If you are following Singer, my car is #28 and titled "Indiana".

Is it on the Singer website?

No, but it will be upon completion. They do a pretty good job of marketing.

If the PPI on the GT pans out and economics are not a direct issue, you should pull the trigger and not look back.
You won't regret it!
Welcome.
Best,
Mark

Congratulations, and Welcome Aboard! :thumbsup

PS - If you wish to get a PPI done, the GT Guys (Rich & Denis) are only 240 miles away in South Rockwood, Michigan. Also, they can do any work you wish to have done.

Matteuson- Welcome aboard as Ralphie stated!

All the information presented in the above posts are hopefully helpful, but due to your proximity to Rich and Dennis (ie The GT Guys) if it is not too late, I would echo the above recommendations to have them look over the car. If the deal has already been consummated and you have questions on what should be replaced due to time (tires, belts, fluids etc.) these guys will know and make the proper recommendations to you. They certainly know our cars inside and out and you are very lucky to be so close to their shop. Many of us travel significant distances to get their attention on our cars.

And you should certainly put the October 14-18 FGT rally on your attendance calendar. Hope to see you in Las Vegas!

Here you go:

Wow wow wow. That is gorgeous. Please post some pics of the car when it's finally in your hands (and build pics if you have them!).
Best of luck on your GT purchase.

The GT Guys website is extremely cool, thank you all for the tip!

There is no such thing as an ugly Singer. Works of art. The pinnacle of air cooled 911's. That being said, you nailed it with that blue color scheme. Envy doesn't begin to describe.........

Welcome!

Since the requests are already coming out, how about some shots of the Charger and Challenger? I am a Mopar fan myself (two Chargers, two Challengers, and a Q5 Daytona).
