I thought that EP's favorite mode of transportation back in high school had 4 legs and 1 horsepower!

Fox body mustangs. Have 3 of them now including the one I bought in high school....an 88 gt

I was fortunate to own the car of my dreams in high school...1973.

Funny, I recall my father always power-shifting our old '83-'84 GTI on our long(er) driveway. I'd ask him to stop the car and do the 1-2 shift often, I enjoyed the torque steer the car provided. Anyway... I ended up recently finding this little gem... <link to the story>

Gotta love being able to find little gems like this...

Pops had a '66 442 when I was young. What a burn out machine, we could roast a set of Polyglass tires on one cruse night to Bob's Big Boy.

glord, here is my white with black top and red interior, let's run them! LOL.

Very nice! These days the only running is back and forth to Starbucks Sunday morning. And to gas station for some $9/gallon 100 octane every 120 miles.

Nice taste! Ironically enough, the market for the '94 Turbo's have really went bonkers. Glad to see they are finally getting their day in the spotlight!

Cheers,

Found a few old paper pictures from back in the eighties - my very first cars.

The VW pick up (my second car) was my surf gear hauler ...... fully restored - and I thought it was the coolest car ..... that until I saw the blue 65 Mustang convrtible I just had to have so I traded it in - almost gave it away - to get the blue Mustang. The red 67 Mustang was my second US car overall - my fourth car ever .... I guess that was about 200 cars ago :biggrin:facepalm::frown

Extra taillights was very popular here in the eighties  If you look closely you will also notice that the rear fender edges have been changed with VW Golf edges (popular when repairing rusty edges and you couldn´t get Mustang parts here) - also notice the Challlenger side markelights on the quarterpanels

I have never seen that before (taillights)! Those are all pretty sweet, though.

Similar to the Cougar lights in overall length.

THOSE I am familiar with! I wouldn't mind having an old Cougar XR-7.
