2005 ford gt pre build tungsten?

In the list of all 05 and 06 builds (in the book) I dont see this VIN.
Is there a reason for this?
Even as a prototype shouldnt it be there?

Take it however you want it, but this car is NOT street legal according to Ford Motor Company. I got an email from someone at SVT unsolicited asking "How many times has this car been sold with no one ever saying it is not legal to drive on US roads?"

I doubt you'd ever get any hassle over it, but if you got in a wreck, you could be in for some problems.

You would know better than anyone......and without being liable for anything........before anyone purchases that car......you have to remeber where it came from.........
The sellers says its got a clean title, but dave is right, It doesnt match up in sequence or records....
Is there a special title like a kit car?...I have no clue?
Interesting, but once again, always remember who had it first, take some advils and go from there........I would still paint it blue though.......alot of work........just my 2 wooden nickels........gtjoey1314

The same was true for Steve Saleen's White GT that was offered for sale in SoCal.

Bigfoot/Guys ,I knew Marcie did a great job on the book........on page 165 , #36 is there.....so theres no confusion......its the 3rd pb1 unit.......not a pb3 and in the program team book it was prepared with 2 options......the audio package and upgrade wheels.......
Neat stuff.........gtjoey1314 hope this helps....

The rivets look tampered with.

And the stamping looks way low. Anyone else?
Bueller?

Looks fairly consistant with other early production units......

Very interesting, as always Cobra jeff, you have alot of archives my friend.....On another note, I recieved a call from a potential buyer, asking many questions as he had the book in his lap......
Page 32/33, has this car before the transformation to Tungsten........note the opposite page 33 with relationsip to an original in the same scheme, no gulf stripe either.....
Also true to form if you look close, both mirrors are even and the first mac radio speaker is visible through the window with no cover.....as stated audio upgrade and wheels....
Anyway either color it would be 1 of 1 for 05, BUT! is it legal to register in all 50 states......
Well , my response would be , it a big boy toy......Im not sure, enjoy it like I have with cp-1. If you have a dealer plate , enjoy it more....either way its a part of GT history.....
GOOD LUCK........GTJOEY1314
