Great shots of the launch/ascent/separation sequences.

Sorry to see this program end.

Even sorrier that I did not make it a priority to go down to watch a launch. :frown

The wife and I had the opportunity to view the very last night launch last year. A moving, breath taking experience to say the least.

Saw a launch from the Keys! Amazing that far away, and still visible. Was with the family in the keys again in Feb hoping to see it again, too much overcast to see, but could still hear it.

Looking forward to the next class of ships.

There won't be any under the current administration.

Wow, is that 200 miles?

Space-X. Go Elon Musk!

According to Yahoo Maps, about 340 miles.

I was guessing a straight line would close that space up but I still underestimated. Wow, seeing it 340 miles away!

We lived in FL in the winters in our skydiving days, Janine took freefall pics. Here's one she took of a shuttle launch - STS-92 Discovery 10/11/00. We saw several launches from freefall. The jump would synchronize with the launch and we cold get a good 30-40 sec view. This one is nice with the full moon. This was from the west coast, 125mi from the launch.
