My apologies again for the delay in drawing a winner for the Whipple 4.0L blower giveaway. We have a winner. The prize drawing has occurred. Selected at random from a list of more than 150 names the winner is...

Actually, I have to say the winner for this contest is pretty amusing. If anyone on the forum deserves it, it's probably this guy. And if anyone on the forum will probably be slightly non-plussed by the additional several hundred horsepower (should he choose to put it on his car), it's DEFINITELY this guy. The toys he's used to playing with are shall we say ever so slightly more powerful.

The winner is #45:

WALDO!

Congratulations buddy, enjoy whatever you do with it, thanks for your support of the forum and service to the U.S.A. And of course thanks again to Dustin Whipple at WHIPPLE SUPERCHARGERS for helping us put this together for the Ford GT Forum 5th Anniversary. The guys at Whipple have provided many thrilling miles for many forum members, and here's to one more.

Ah, to dream. Congrats Waldo. Very nice. And to Dave and Dustin, thanks for putting on the contest. It was fun to dream.

brilliant!!

Congrats, Waldo!

Wow...

To say I'm a bit stunned would be an understatement. Many, many thanks to Dustin Whipple and our fearless forum leader, Dave. Their generosity is beyond words.

Have no fear, Dave. The only place this Whipple is going is into the engine bay of #562. There's no way would I pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity. Besides, my rear tires were lasting way too long.

Okay, now to re-read every Whipple post on the forum...

Thanks again to Dustin and Dave,
Waldo :usa

WOOOHOOO, more powa.

Now you can go get a set of tires for everyday of the week.

Gt may now be faster than the Harrier!!! Congrats...

Congratulations! Enjoy the new toy!

Congrats Waldo and thanks to the Forum & Whipple for providing such a great opportunity. I did suspect not to win as my wife keeps telling me how lucky in love I am ........ :lol:rofl:rofl

Instead I´ll have to install my Ford Racing GTX offroad pipe so my car at least sounds fast ... just like my hero Ralphies car :biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

So Dave, when is the next big raffle?:lol

:cheers:cheers

Congrats on the win! If you can change an intake manifold you can swap out the blower. The biggest pain is getting the new blower belt installed. Be sure to get a good tune for it. I recommend Shadowman, his tune is safe and has great drivability throughout the operating range. Some other tunes I have seen are geared more towards operations in the extreme with too little thought or concern about overall operation on the public roads.
