Shadowman Sharing a few of the gal's that have come to visit Area-51

Here are links to just a few of the gal's that have come and spent time with me within Area 51; hopefully through these projects you will have questions answered and just maybe get excited about massaging your gal a bit more; if there are any questions please ask.

Throughout the projects as presented there is a common denominator; the passion as shared for the gal's and the wonderful array of personal touch and performance enhancements available for them.

Some of the items have become nearly a staple item; as if an OEM offering whereas others are specific to the individual and his/her gal.

Regardless as to whether a personal touch item or a performance enhancement IMO if integrated rather than simply installed the results are seamless and will weather the test of time.

I hope that you enjoy viewing the projects as I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of them knowing full well that each was another's dream within which I was allowed to travel as the facilitator for that moment in time.

Thank you all for the opportunity to be included in your dream; this holds true whether your gal comes to visit Area-51 or we simply work together by phone. In the end my only desire is for each and every gal to be properly tended to and for your time with her to be nothing but enjoyable and safe.

:lolIt's a shame you have so little experience with these gals

Perhaps a few classes at WyoTech might help.

A meer drop in the bucket compaired to all the individuals you have helped over the phone.

I Knew even prior to meeting you that you were a First cabin, Top drawer, A-1 kind of man.

It's a pleasure knowing you Bill, thanks for all your help.

Yeah, but his hands look like s**t in pictures.

Bill,
You're a lucky man to have massaged all of these gals !!

Yeah, but his hands look like s**t in pictures.

Frank you are so suave with your words... easy to say for a guy who has never got his hands dirty !!! :eek

Yeah, patients really appreciate doctors with dirty, blistered hands. That's what they make gloves for.

You can't tell me the guys that own these cars don't have women to match, and I'm sure at least a few have nice looking hands.

Some very nice eye candy! Anyone can bolt parts on, it's your attention to the small details and the elegant solutions you find to others that make your work stand out.

Bill,

I very much appreciate all of the work that you have done to my car. This is now MY car and YOU made it that way. I helped to get it started and you did all of the really hard stuff. Many thanks!

Michael

Thank you for those that have viewed the projects and for those that have made comments.

Now there was a comment made to me earlier in the evening in which I was called arrogant and he shared that by some on this Forum I am considered “over the top”; in fact he shared increasingly so because I present projects, how to complete a task, and my comments on others projects as if it is my way or not at all and I have thought long and hard about that which he shared.

I do present my projects from time to time during which I do make at times poignant comments however I am always careful not to discount that which another has done but rather at times share that there is an alternate path, one that often times is more difficult to travel and to some not a better path but it is my path. I also share on a regular basis how complete a given task and when doing so I share it as I do it which may not be the easiest or even the best way and yet it is the way I do it over and over and then lastly with regards to my commenting critically on another’s project; with the exception of an occasional joust I try to make it a personal policy to either say something nice or nothing at all. Now I asked this person to share with me where I have done differently and once presented I will do my level best to make amends because it is never my intention to critique within this Forum that which was presented by a Forum member. Now do I share my opinion with the individual as well as others from time to time away from the Forum; absolutely with my only desire being for a better product and or service to be provided and for the end user to be even happier.

Now there is no doubt that I am fricken anal and extremely detail orientated and it does not matter whether I am tending to a gal up close, assisting on the phone, or making a post this cool car world that I live in is black and white; for me there are no shades of gray.

Having shared this let me be very clear that there are IMO several extremely talented and qualified Forum members that find/create the same results as do I as well as those that do something’s better than me and yet it is likely that the path taken to arrive at a given finish line is different than mine. Is one better that the other; this is a question that IMO can only receive from most a subjective or at the very least a self serving answer. As such to a person one must define their expectations and if the results that they receive are commiserate with them then a home run has been made however if not one either needs to change their expectations or journeys to another.

Even when I present the projects that I have been party to that have less than stellar issues I do not toss anyone under the proverbial bus but rather I share clearly what was wrong and IMO why; these project sections are created so that folks can view their project as it unfolds and in doing so there is a story shared that is not always a fricken bed of roses and people need to know and frankly deserve to know this so that they understand what has happened and why. Then add to this I hope that by sharing the less than stellar situations that it makes those with less than stellar practices to think twice the next time or at least in my idealist world I like to believe that this happens

Now I shared these links not as a self serving act as inferred by the person earlier this evening but rather for two significant reasons; I wanted to bring some life back to our Forum as it has been very quiet and lackluster for some time now and it seems to me that folks enjoy viewing projects through which IMO lessons are learned, ideas are formulated, and new projects are defined. The other reason that I shared these links is because many of these folks are active Forum members and it gives them the opportunity to share their gal and a portion of their dream with all of you.

So in closing; if I am being seen as arrogant, over the top with the” my way or the highway “attitude, and critical of another’s efforts this saddened me because beyond all else I do care and truly mean for all nothing but the best.

I for one really enjoy looking at the projects completed in Area 51. The only problem is.... I get project envy and find lots of good stuff I want to do.
Thanks so much for the many years of help and support on my car.

'Arrogant' and 'over the top'????

I can confidently say that there isn't a bone in your body that has even crossed paths with these frailties my friend.

The definition of arrogance indicates being out of touch with reality and overestimating one's own competence or capabilities, and on that accord alone their charge fails miserably. There would be many a Forum member lost and upset with their FGT if there weren't gentlemen like you that have been there to pick up the slack where Ford has dropped the ball on support and engineering for all of us. The guidance, time, and hard work you have afforded us is beyond reproach.

Let me be the first to apologize to you for their callous comments Shadowman. It sounds like a 'Captain of Industry' had too much vino. I can't imagine these views came from anybody that has spent more than 5 minutes on this site.

If I added up all the emails and phone calls I've had with Bill while my gal was in his care, the hourly rate for his services is ridiculously low. Combined with the peace of mind knowing you are receiving top shelf expertise and attention to detail, it's hard to believe you could find a better deal anywhere.

Truly amazing stuff. Im learning a TON just looking at the pics and reading the captions!

And it sure helps when deciding what you might want to do with your own car. It is not just purely performance subject matter either. Lots about how to improve the everyday quality of use of our cars.

:usa

Bill -

Not only do you provide excellent service and innovation for our gals, but you also stimulate others to dream up new ideas and solutions. You are one of the few members that stand out to make the Forum a place which we all endeavor to read on a consistent basis.

PS - Take off the glove, as your hands are fine. And, I need to add to my "Thumbs" collection...:lol

Wow, who would say such a thing. If it weren't for guys like you, StormCat, Kip, etc., our cars would be stagnant, very fast, aluminum paperweights. You guys have given us all (the GT community) a clarity of vision on how to advance the breed. Where would Ray be without people like you to develop, design and install our dreams. While I'm a smart guy, I could never be an artist like you guys are at doing this stuff. You all have my utmost respect for your abilities and attitudes.

Also, Bill, you're one of the nicest people anyone could ever meet or talk to (at least when you're sober). As mentioned previously, your willingness to help any one of us out whether in person, over the phone, or electronic communication is beyond reproach. I'm proud to think of you as a friend and always look forward to seeing you at the Rallys.

It would be a shame for you to deprive us of what you do best (I guess you do this best - perhaps you have other talents). I personally drool over your projects and welcome your posts with pictures.

Your friend Frank

Where is the typical grease under the fingernails? I think Bill is just the front man, some unseen elves do the actual work on the cars. :lol

First.....You, my friend, have great taste :biggrin:lol
Blackbird looks amazing.

Second....thanks for starting the thread Shadowman......Very cool to see these beauties on my screen.

Third....I can only speculate that the person who made those comments knows nothing of this forum or of you.....so I'd disregard anything and everything that person utters.
We're beyond lucky to have you here, always willing to help with a phone call or email....and asking for nothing in return. Nobody is quicker to offer a helping hand than you....from the easiest to the most difficult task. I remember placing my cell phone on my car on "speaker" mode while you guided me through the removal of my supercharger.....that was probably the third time I ever spoke with you:eek

Since then I determined you are the guy I want working on my car...and she's been up to you numerous times

Add to that the all the fantastic improvements you've had your "hand" in. I for one have many of those mods on my car and I enjoy her more as a result.

SO PLEASE KEEP IT UP SHADOWMAN......and thank you for all you've done, and no doubt will do for us in the future.
