I went down with Camilo and took my Dad's new Heritage to Rich and Dennis to have the 4 year old oil changed, halfshaft bolts done, numbers put on, doors adjusted, iPod adapter, etc.

I also had them put in their black clamshell hook system, which to be perfectly honest, I'm stunned hasn't been put in literally every Ford GT. I know I open my clamshell frequently. I'm only 5'10 in shoes so it's a pain in the ass to lean over the car and get the second hook. Having the ability to stand there and just pop it open on one side is priceless, and it's totally reversible. If you don't have it, buy it! Here it is in silver.

Thanks again guys. White Twin Turbo car made it out of hibernation yesterday, so that'll be down there soon.

Dude, your dad is black? So is mine.

My Dad doesn't wear Old Milwaukee t-shirts. :lol

Where did the fancy carbon-fiber come from? Is that your dad's new car?

No, that's in Rich Brooks' car. They'll put it in yours too. Reasonably priced. :biggrin

I bought the bar when we were in Texas and self-installed. The nuclear reactor light ballast had to be moved to accomodate it. Not a major thing, but took some time.

Great pics/car--I should know this but what is the best IPOD adaptor/install for the GT?

Hmm, both those cars look familar! :)
I bet they have been in Jonesboro Ar before! :)

How much does the CF liner weigh? Do they need to alter the inside of the factory piece to fit it?

.

Thank you

No problem as we hope that he takes good care of his new toy. Havn't seen one that new in a quite a while.
Now to get that white one ready for the driving season!
Thanks for the compliments on our hook system as well.
