New or used? US or Foreign?

z06 is alot of bang for the buck, so is an 08 viper coupe

V

I have a Z06 a 09 CTS V and my wife just got a new Boxter S.
All around your money. The Boxter is a kick in the butt, but she doesn't
let me drive it very often.

For what purpose? Bought an m3 recently which I can fit the family in, the wife loves and can drive and performance is resonable and extremely drivable on a daily basis.

i have an extremely tuned 335xi that is a standard M3 killer. Awesome car.. true sleeper. Don't really consider it a sports car thou. The Lotus is a sports car IMHO. The BMW is more .... tourer. Sports cars should NOT have a back seat. :wink

Wow, it took you 12 minutes to smell that BMW post! :lol

Audi S4

Porsche Cayman S

1/3 of a FGT?? :lol

Seriously, I recently picked up an used low mile SL55 and it is very fun. Hard top convertible two seater, 493hp, 516tq, lots of fun tech and you can add 55 hp/tq and raise the limit to 200mph with a 4K chip upgrade. Lots of car for the money. It is an automatic, but it has paddles and tiptronic altough I have not used them. May be a little heavy for you but as a less expensive second to the FGT it is :thumbsup:thumbsup

Had a Viper and liked it, but it was a tight cockpit if you are tall. Immense thrust and with that big 10 cylinder out there in front of you is a sight to behold. More pure sports car.

Make sure you post what you decide on. :cheers

Lotus Exige...a hummingbird on steroids. Fun for the dollar....don't think you could beat it.

Nissan Skyline GT-R can be track ready with 60k and fun to drive.

Two 5.0 Mustang GTs.

OK ,Let me clarify.
I would like a car that is fun to drive on the street and can be taken to the track for track days.It would also be nice to get something that is not going to tank in value.Ok I must be dreaming ,right ?
I have been thinking of a 993twin turbo(my favorite 911), Nissan GTR , GT 500/Shelby,Lotus Exige .The problem is, I have to open the garage and have wood over it like the Gt! I am afraid to say the Gt has ruined me!

rocketman - talk to Mark McGowen about the 2011 Mustang with the track pac set up. He had a test mule at Pharump for Stig's Day Out. This car is full of "goodness".
