I just heard that the Performance Power white Ford GT owned by Johnny Bohmer went 253mph in the Top Gun standing mile run in Florida. :bow
 
Totally ridiculous. That is ungodly fast.

And I'll be the first one to put my foot in my mouth.

Ditto. To be fair though, the assumptions on what the car would do were partly based on things like the $900,000 GT they had for sale on their site. :lol

I'm just hoping the Top Gun run is well organized like the Texas Mile so it can be "official."
 
I heard it was pretty good and they have some sort of Tag Heuer timing system.

All the GT's ran strong.. My little ol' pulley and tune car ran 195 mph and some change. Camilo ran in the 189-190 mph range..:thumbsup

I hope they bring it to the texas mile!

i heard they had tailwinds. since the track is basically at sea level i bet the DA was close to sea level as well. must be nice......
