Seems to me it's more of a new station and an eager beaver reporter sensationalizing a story to attract viewership...

Actually it looks like some free advertising for St. Louis Motorsports to me. I have a friend that owns an exotic car business in Canada who posted videos of running high speeds on public roads. It ended up on every news channel in the country. He said that business exploded overnight from all of the buzz that the news channels created. I'm not saying that it's right but it certainly isn't the worst thing that can happen.
 
As they say in show business, ANY media is good media.
 
My ex-wife was a public relations director of a large company. And just as Shelby said, she preached any publicity is better than none. I know it is hard to believe but even the problem with Toyota will bring them some sales.
