Air/ Fuel gauge by Shadowman and Britospeed

Thanks Shadowman. How would you know if your running lean or rich ?

What ????; and yet there are no dumb questions; thank you for asking.

The number as evidenced on the gauge is the a/f ratio as being received from the wide band O2 sensor; there is no baseline number to which a number is added to or subtracted from the number as seen on the gauge.

Please let me know if you have any addition questions.

I would thank Pe2unia for doing all the leg work on this project. Also I would like to thank Shadowman, Freeflyer for one hell of a job on the gauge. and also for the install thanks to the gy guys, great job as all ways:cheers:cheers

Big number = going leaner

Typical closed loop operation meaning crusing along the gal wil be in the mid to upper 14 range; decell will see 18-20 and then when WOT depending on the tune between 10.5 and 12

This item is a "must have"!

You would know at a moment in time if you are running rich or lean. For daily driving it's just another information point.
It would be interesting to see what the afr is reading after you make mods or are driving in everyday conditions.

Certainly more interesting than Volts...

You could certainly put this in one of StormCat's pods/cupholders, AND, save yourself the trouble of taking the dash apart.

Was price already discussed?

Has anyone else purchased or installed the new A/F gauges?

I'll be get-en one in a week or so.

I have one but haven't installed it yet. I am WAITING FOR KIP's 2 DIN so that I don't have to tear the car about twice.

Very cool. I am interested as well...

keep waiting Black Ice

I'm trying to get Kip to hold off on the 2 DIN project & get that CF airbox project going!

question?

Is the LED affected by the dimmer. I have a tough time with any bright lights on the dash.

THX.

You'll retain the factory instrument cluster diming feature. The gauge background will vary in brightness only. The Voltage indicator LED does not vary with the dimmer. I can custom make a softer LED output if you so choose.
