Good News / Bad News


Just talked to Fred again, he has the best attitude and is enjoying the rally.
 
Dr. Frank gave the required therapy (alcohol and nicotine). I don't know of a more dedicated owner. Car gets ruined, and he gets it home, grabs the daily driver, and proceeds to the Rally.
 
I appreciate all of the well wishes. It was a very scary ride and not one I wish to do again. We are both feeling great and know we were lucky. Both of us wanted nothing more than to enjoy the rallye with you all, and we did.

It was great to see some of you again and meet some new faces. I know we will be back again WITH a GT in the future!!!!

It was so nice to meet both of you and thank God both of you were ok!!

Fred was truly incredible at the Rally! I really enjoyed our supper in Scottsdale and getting to know you both!

Thanks for your interest and concern. Things are moving forward [however, slowly].

It has now been 7 weeks, and I am STILL WAITING for the insurance company to approve repairs.

They are busy with Hurricane Ike damage, they have questions about the repairs, they have people on vacation, they are dragging their feet [in my opinion]. I just love bureaucracy.

Rich & Denis are waiting in the wings for the go ahead on repairs.

The “Spirit GT” WILL RETURN to the highways and byways of America.

Temp got down to darn right chilly 40 degrees last night - way too cold for me; but backup to a normal - 75 today :cool. Eat your wet and soggy Pacific Northwest heart out. :lol

Oh, and bye the way, PLEASE don't use them big 50 cent words, they make this poor boy blush. :O

Tom,

Is at the GT Hospital in Michigan undergoing diagnois, and then on to surgery.

The good GT Doctors say a full recovery is expected.

After the recovery, it's then back home for some exercise and physical therapy.

Thanks for asking.

All will be well.
