    Battery Tender Jr failures

FYI, I have had a few Battery Tenders for 10 years, always hooked up. When the BT's were (2) yrs old, there was a lightening strike near my house which wiped out A single BT and a 4 channel BT. (It also wiped out all low voltage chargers and my vintage stereo receiver). I sent the (2) units...

    Funny how the GT thrives

Good taste in cars and women is true however, I am not so sure about wheels and tires.

And yet .. another salvaged GT

But they said the damage was "not deep". Is anyone keeping a log by VIN with damage pics of the wrecks?? In the not too distant future, we will be asked, or will want to find out the extent of the damage on salvage titles. Eventually, uncrashed GT's will be rare.:confused

Is There Anyone Out There with an Unmodified FGT?

Another 100% Stock. Don't plan on selling or modifying. I may change the exhaust eventually, but only to preserve the original. Mods are OK as long as you keep all the original parts with the car, IMO. No drilling or cutting either, I was trained on Vettes. I haven't broken the 200 barrier...

    Parking the FGT...a mild rant

911, you are right about paint chips on the track. I only take my Formula Continental on the track and it has plenty of chips. And yes I do only take the GT where it can do 100. There are ways that this can be done, (it only takes a few seconds). You need little or no traffic, and no deer...

    Parking the FGT...a mild rant

+10 to Ole Blue. You guys who park your GT's in a lot UNATTENDED, well let's just say that you should not have bought this car. It's not a grocery getter or a convertible for you to drive by waving at your friends on the golf course. IT'S A DRIVER'S CAR! It should be driven only where it can...

    Oil Change Problems

Thanks Pete S. I'm about to do my first oil change and I was wondering what ramps I should buy. You are one of the reasons why this forum is great. btw, is it OK for the car to lean forward while draining the oil, or should I level it?? 06 # 1118

Well I guess your pockets ain't empty now, but your heart must be. Larry, you didn't drive it enough!!! Otherwise, you could never have let it go!! I'll send you pics of mine if you ever need a Midnight Blue fix. How few miles did it have anyway? Disappointed but, good luck 06 #1118:confused

Owner Review: Ford GT vs. F430 (Long, with Photos)

Fantastic Comparison! Much more objective than any magazine article. Thank you. When I was in the market, I knew I would go for the GT, but I did test drive a 360 first. I've always liked Ferraris and could not see buying my first midengine without experiencing a Ferrari. The Ferrari...

    Trade GT for 08' Viper?

I agree with "gtinmyblood". I love Ferrari's but they look tame compared to the GT, (and are). I schemed to get mine ever since I saw the yellow GT at the 02 Car show. :rofl 06 #1118 (Midnight Blue) Ducati 998 Ducati 998R Formula Ford 2000 E350 V10 Tow Van

    Why do you own it?

If you think the GT is "just another car", then you should trade yours in for a BMW 750 or some other depreciating status symbol. GT's are an automotive milestone, a part of history. I would love to drive mine more often, but having restored a few cars owned by reckless previous owners, I'll...
