I agree. A stock CGT is 130mph+ in the quarter. Not slow. I totally disagree. To me the CGT is well above the FGT in these areas.

Does anyone make stiffer Heavy Duty engine and transaxle mounts for the GT?

Ed your car looks great and I bet it is a monster on the track. What suspension changes have you made to go along with the slicks?

This is a new and interesting issue. What can go wrong inside the blower to cause low boost but not a total failure? Steve, how did you know the by-pass needed some adjusting? Did you just increase the preload?

They told me 80mm which is 3.15". Not sure where the confilcting info comes from :confused Plus if the Roush really was 2.8" it would give more than 25hp.

Ed, your car looks great on the track and all the upgrades you have done appear to be well thought out. One question though -- why not the Hoosier 255/40/18 on the front since it is wider than your 245 and almost the same O.D. as the factory front tire. Are you going to add any power to the car?

Great, now can the math expert tell me what RPM the blower is spinning at 6000rpm with the stock pulley and with a 2.76" pulley?

Are there any real sound or peformance differences between these three units? The Accufab is the least expensive, most elegant and probably the lightest of the three. Would there be any reason to consider one of the others?

Does anyone make an aftermarket rotor for these cars? Maybe a nice two piece unit like Performance Friction offers? If not, where is the least expensive place to buy OEM rotors?

Is it normal to feel some clutch shudder/chatter on a brand new GT? Everytime I go from a dead stop I get clutch chatter, whether hot or cold.

Then it should be fine. If the car is tuned by the MAF is is just looking at airflow so if it is tuned for a max of 16psi but I use a smaller pulley for 14psi the MAF voltage will be lower and the car should still be just fine at the lower boost.

Has anyone dared to try a 2.7" pulley for track lapping days? The power would be nice but with all the extra intake charge heat I would be worried about blowing a motor, especially on 91 octane! The same goes for 200mph+ runs...I doubt a tiny 2.7" pulley spinning the blower like mad for...

Guys, how does the aftermarket tuning work on this car? It is my understanding that if I use a small pulley I need a new tune so the car won't go lean under boost. This makes sense since the factory didn't map the PCM for higher than stock boost. What would happen if I bought a reflash tuner...
