Getting my GT this coming week. I have had a 1200RWHP Heffner TT Viper before and don't want to go that route yet. What are the first few mods that I should do to this car ?

Somewhat in order of priority:

Phase I
  1. LLoyd floor mats (best protection)
  2. Speed Lingeriere front end mask and mirror masks
  3. Car cover that offers real protection (i.e. CCC Dust Top)
  4. Cooltech Window Savers
  5. Proline windshield skin

Phase II
  1. MGW 12V power outlet cover
  2. Short throw shifter
  3. GT Saver shift ball

Phase III
  1. Transaxle cooler
  2. GT Saver transaxle breather extender
  3. Exhaust (from cat-back to a complete system replacement)

Phase IV
  1. Pulley and tune

IMHO

Phase 1 get used to car-with positive displacement supercharger there is a lot of tq down low, very easy for the car to get sideways.

Phase 2 muffler replace, not full exhaust, smaller pulley and reflash.

I might be there just a little after 10:00 this week. My Cobra is being picked up around 9:30.

See you then. I'll probably have my Viper.

The cooltech window saves go behind the seats on the back wall near the top. remove bolts - replace with window savers. stops the seat when reclined from blowing out your window to the engine.

The MGW power plug goes in where the "cigarette or 12V recepticle" is next to the start bottom. The big red thing in the center of the car:biggrin

Are there any reported cases of the rear window being blown out by the reclining seats?

Has anybody reclined the seat and then moved it all the way back to see if it even contacts the window? Seems like a pretty poor design if it does.:frown

I'm 6'2" so my seat is pretty far back and I have had the seat reclined enough to clear a helmet, but I've had no contact with the window.

Kendall designed a device to protect the rear window, I sort of recall someone loosing one, check with him.
