My wife and I went to the event Saturday and had a great time. I was very challenged by the event but the car was not. I need a lot more track time to even qualify as a beginner. Some of those guys were very very good! The only thing that was kind of a pain was getting the brake fluid...

I just had X-pert Auto Tinting and Alarms put on the paint protection plastic tape. It took from 9:30 to 4:30 and they were pretty much working all the time. So far it looks great. I hope it saves a few stone chips!! It was about $1300 with tax.

Is it too late to get a GT in on Monday for a pulley, Accufab & tune? If not, who do I call and what is the number???

A number of folks have replaced the stock pulley with a 2.7" pulley and increased the HP by about 100 (with a tune). My question is do you really notice the difference other than the shorter E.T. / MPH. That is to say, does the car really feel different with the extra HP.

I took mine out today and it went over the 50 mile point. I finally got to use the supercharger!! I suspect the issue is the 50 mile limitation in the computer as someone else posted. It was fun before and is more fun now!!

I did a GT test drive (verrrry short) at Lone Star Ford in their Black GT and it would also shut down at about 4k rpms. My heritage now has 36 miles and last time I had it out it still would not let the super engage. Maybe it knnows how I drive and is protecting itself....

ARE ANY STREET LEGAl? I notice on the Ford racing site the exh headers etc are listed as not street legal. Are any of the after market systems street legal?

Wow. I traded in my '04 corvette conv in on the GT last week but had to wait for the GT to be delivered to the dealer. What a difference! I have to say the corvette had more electronic technnology (heads up display and the like) but the GT is another animal all together. Even the stock pipes...
