You'll have lots of problems with the dry sump. Figure out what to do with it and you might be able to use it.

Factory Five GTM, or Race Car Replica P car, Noble.

Where to put your spare engine

Put it in your den, like I did with my spare engine: :cheers

looking good Jeff, why aren't you at Indy riding shotgun?:wink

Put in in a Pantera. Lighter than a GT and the ZF-2 or RBT-6 have a choice of gear ratios. A couple, 3.77 or 4.22 come to mind. I believe the RBT-6 was ran for awhile until Ford picked Ricardo. If you don't use the Ricardo you will have to modify for a starter.

Regarding the dry sump in a GT500 or something that would have fitment issues with the pump, I believe that JDM engineering had wet sump pans made to fit the oil returns in the block.

Paul's High Performance in Michigan had a Mustang SEMA car with a GT motor in it. You could contact them for info on what it takes,

Have Chip Foose put it into his new HemiSphere (or as he calls it - Foose Coupe when it has the Ford 5.4L). http://www.autoblog.com/photos/foose-hemisphere/
