Put in in a Pantera. Lighter than a GT and the ZF-2 or RBT-6 have a choice of gear ratios. A couple, 3.77 or 4.22 come to mind. I believe the RBT-6 was ran for awhile until Ford picked Ricardo. If you don't use the Ricardo you will have to modify for a starter.
Regarding the dry sump in a GT500 or something that would have fitment issues with the pump, I believe that JDM engineering had wet sump pans made to fit the oil returns in the block.
