I love the SLS Black series, for a host of reasons: styling (hard to beat Gullwing doors), Mercedes heritage, rarity (300ish world wide, 130ish in US), normally aspirated 650 HP, etc.. At the moment, I have 2 of them. The only other time have had 2 of same car, is 2005-6 FGT.

It is however very different than a NGT or Senna. To me the SLS Black is more a superb grand tourer than race car.

The NGT and Senna to me are just all out track focused, uncompromising race cars, both of which are hard to believe are street legal. When you have to question a manufacturer's sanity for building a car such as the new GT (or Senna for that matter in my opinion), it says something.
If Senna wasn't $1m, and Mclarens didnt typically bomb in value, I would own one too.
Give us an insight in what else interests you....What else do you own as of now??

Sat in Germany for a long time waiting for unidentified parts but finally got my AMG GT Black Series. Ordered it in January. I've always like the various GT cars and I feel like this one is pretty special. Really a wild and nasty car when you go through it.

My wife has the GT C and it sounds great. AMG has the exhaust note down perfect on all their cars. I cant imagine what the flat plane crank sounds like on this bad boy. Nurburgring record holder for a while too.

The new AMG GT Black series is a wicked looking beast. More track monster than the SLS Black series in my opinion.
Congrats. I tried getting one from my local dealer months ago. No luck. Didn't even return my calls.

DBK - Curious your impressions, as you have probably driven about everything cool out there....

Sinovac - That is pretty wicked. Love it. Now if they made a big man's version, it would be a GT50, not GT40 :)

Very nice. While it seems like the standard AMG range has become very watered down, the Black Series cars really are something special.

It’s pretty tight even for me, and I’m 3/4th your size, but man do I love that car.

I believe the new GT will always be the high watermark for me. It signifies the perfect convergence of history, performance, and personal challenge. I don’t ever see myself selling as it’s my Super Bowl ring and I really enjoy the excitement it brings to everyone. Now I find myself hard pressed to get excited about “more” supercars. I am excited about getting my Bronco, and was equally excited to hunt down a Focus ST3 for my daughter. Life is good!😎

I bought a $100,000 2021 Dodge Ram TRX 3 months ago from the profits from my cryptocurrency trading :) I will be buying a used Lamborghini Huracan Performante (2017-2019) next year to modify for racing when bitcoin hits its bull market cycle top  Then when bitcoin goes on another bull run in 2024-2025 i will be buying a Ferrari F8 Spyder

I got a Lexus LFA and a 964 Turbo 3.6 (Euro spec, one of one car) plus a few Benjamin’s back for my 2018 FGT. LFA market has gone nuts, and I love 90’s air cooled Porsche‘s.

I’m not a European car aficionado, but I want a GT3 Touring. I tried to buy one new, but it was an Oliver Twist “more porridge please” moment. Blech.
