What have you done with your new Ford GT?

If anyone deserves a new allocation, it's you Barry! As many have said before, you've been the true test mule!

Barry deserves a special award being the test mule for "what can go wrong with a NFGT"
Barry deserves another car.

Couple more pics from Saturday’s car show.

What, no RED cars?
Hey Frank, my NFGT got delivered to Pat Milliken Ford Wednesday, it’s very Red.
Don’t have a delivery day yet but excited to see and drive.

Very cool!

Barry…. I think I may have lost MY sense of humour around 28 failures ago. Your level of commitment is commendable!

Barry will be getting another allocation. I consider this non-negotiable.

Great news Barry! Congratulations! Well deserved in my humble opinion!

Thats great news and well deserved.

Oh I should make note - this has not yet happened. It’s going to happen. Period.

Have to love some of the information that first comes across on this forum!

Great news indeed! Kudos to all involved including Ford

Again, just to clarify, this hasn't happened yet. There have been ample opportunities for it to happen proactively, which have not been taken.

Went to a new locals show near a small hotel in Laguna Hills. Met the owner of the hotel, who has a large collection of older european cars, primarily Mercedes, each one with a story. He had a e36 '95 M3 for sale, but it was in poor condition and would need a lot of work.

Fun bringing smiles to the faces of many as they had mostly not seen a NFGT in person.

On the track at Apex, turbos to air intake hose clamp decided to let go with another explosive smack of the hard plastic housing into the rear window, again (second time) cracking passenger to engine compartment rear window. Again. Sigh.
Give those hose clamps an extra quarter turn or more and save yourself a $1500 bill for replacing the glass. But hey, at least it wasn’t a warranty issue , this second time!

Ok, how does a transmission cooler not last, and start spraying clutch fluid out the rear, and need to be replaced, at 45000 miles? For $4500. I need to learn how to disassemble these body parts.

When are you going to wise up and send it to Italian Joe at Milliken?

Went to Sonoma Raceway aka Sears Point, to cheer on our hero Dirk Muller who is now racing Mercedes AMG cars. I tried to convince him to switch cars for the weekend race lol ...hell i even brought him the Ford GT WEC suit. He ended up autographing the car :) He's such a nice and competent driver. I loved his stories from his time at Ford.
