I'm glad to have Safecraft on the Forum as an approved vendor. They are great to work with. I have their harness bars, harness & fire system in my FGT. Great team!

Ed

Welcome Don !!

Welcome Don. My new belts are due to be delivered on the 27th and I'm really looking forward to it. Love my fire system. Frank

Hey Don - welcome, great insurance that fire system!

Welcome Don. I'll gladly give Safecraft and Don Warren a strong recommendation. I've bought their engine bay fire suppression system, a cabin fire extinguisher with the floor mount and just recieved their new mount to move it to the side of the console. I also just ordered one of their race harnesses. Don has been very easy to work with and is always willing to bend over backwards to make sure you're pleased.

If you want one of their products customized, just talk to Don.:thumbsup

Plus, when you give him a big recommendation like this, he'll give you a 20% discount on your next order!!! (Just kidding Don.):rofl

Hey, Tex, I got here first with the recommendation, so I get the 20%.

Hello Don,
Thanks for supporting the FORD GT FORUM.
Cheers,
daniel

great location

I love it that I live half way between Safecraft & Shadowman! A 1 hour trip to either place!

:thumbsup to Safecraft from this camp. Purchased their harness bar and 6 point harness along with the cabin fire extinguisher. First class products and service.

SafeCraft has a truly great team and is a company that cares.

They have listened on several occassions when we (as owners) expressed concerns and interest by presenting some wonderful product.

Now we simply need to remember this and keep their phone number at the top of our list.

Thank you SafeCraft

not that it would be hard to figure out but here is their link

Already have the halon system but ordered the interior extinguisher. I have a reoccurring fear of blowing myself up :eek

FUBAR leave blowing up things to Todd.

Where does the P-82 mount in my GT. I would like to purchase one, however I prefer not to drill holes.
Thanks

One option is to mount the unit on the right side of the console just above the storage cavity. (I placed mine there initially but found it to be a bit obtrusive while compromising precious storage space. If you go this route be sure to use 1/2" to 3/4" standoffs (you will need longer bolts as well) between the console and the mounting plate to prevent the plate from contacting the console which could result in damage. I learned this the hard way!

The other option is to mount the unit onto the passenger seat's two front seat-track bolts. You will lose fore and aft adjustability but with the seat set in its rearmost position, that's a negledgible compromise. The appearance is innocuous and in no way obtrusive. Some feel it is necessary to use slightly longer seat track bolts - my measurements suggested otherwise so I used the stock bolts and encountered no difficulties.

Good luck ..... joe

Thanks,
Really appreciate the response.
