Welcome: Knight's Autoworks

I was thinking of a much more efficient solution along the lines of a leather sleeve (or some othe material) of some sort that the belt would run through.

The sleeve would have a means of utilizing the the existing leather guide to keep it in place.

The sleeve would endure the rubbing of the seat belt, thus mitigating the rubbing on the seat bolster.

The sleeve would be a piece that deteriorates (and easily replaceable), while the seat would endure.

It was rumored that EP's seat look as good as when it left the factory! :lol

My suggestion to you guys with belt problems - lose weight!

Speaking of weight, I was going to have my seat lowered by Knight's Autoworks since my head clearance with a helmet was not existent. I am only 6' tall but I had to move the seat forward and recline the seatback, or I wouldn't fit. This wasn't a good driving position. That was when I weighed 175. During the TX rally I was lighter at 163. Guess what, I fit so much better with helmet lowering the seat wasn't necessary anymore. One can remove the seat padding, or the padding on one's rear end. Either method will improve the headroom, but allowing Steve to work his magic on your seat, allows you to eat more! :lol

Now can I keep the weight off?

Black Ice,

Perhaps you should put your feet up and enjoy a nice bowl of "ice" cream. Go ahead and have two, you've earned it. My phone is always on.

(Congrats!)
