250 MPH or so ... "air" on if you wish (need) ... "ZZ Top" blastin' outta th' sound system...aaaaaaah, yes! That'd be tuff to take! NOT!!!!!!!

Hmmm

According to Ford engineers the GT, in STOCK trim, is capable of 218 mph if you have a long enough track and if you adjust the rev limiter up 300rpm.

Which inspires the question: How much more power (and maybe aero effects) would be necessary to get the GT to 253 mph?

That misrepresents the relationship . As Im sure you know all of the factors (including cost, aparently) involved in going from 200 to 245 are quadratic not linear
