Well,
I decided to go to the Dyno over at Lonestar Performance in Garland , TX on Sat.
I was and have wondered what the car would do. Especially after
the trip to Goliad to run the mile. I ended up playing with the
boost and burned up a couple of plugs in the process. I then
ran a compression check wich yielded a low test result on one
cylinder. Could the car have came this way from the factory?
Maybe..Did I perform the test correctly? Dunno..
All I can say is that the car is and has been running
just as strong as when Chad sold it to me so no real
cause for concern
The dyno sheets are a little light unless you enlarge
them. Printer was low on toner.
Dyno Run 1
93 Octane Chevron Fuel
Same tune and boost settings as when I bought the car.
Boost around 18lbs and conservative pump gas tune.
Only Change: Plugs / Accufab TB
Dyno Run 2
Same as above.
Brian looked at the run and decided we should inspect the plugs.
We changed from a TR5 to a TR6 Ngk One step colder
and closed up the gap. It was probably around .45 oops...
We closed it to 0.30
Both runs same weather and car coolant temp conditions.
Ambient outside air: 94 degrees
Car Coolant temp: 160degrees
Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!
