Too much attention

So Cal
Went with a date today to a restaurant in Laguna Beach, CA. Was lucky and found a place to parallel park right in front of the outside patio area.
As we were sitting on the patio (car in sight) , I could not believe the amount of people that posed and took pictures with the car. And then,..., there walks by a couple of ladies pushing 75 plus years holding arms, they just stood there admiring, I mean a good minute or two. I guess the car stood the test of time. Enjoy your GTs guys :thumbsup

that is just awesome

playing with the functions here.... and enjoying it..

Good to know that these cars are getting the attention they deserve, even in SOCAL which is saying ALOT! (lot's of nice cars out there!)

I have owned and driven pretty much every exotic car under $500k. The GT seems to get MORE attention than most. Was at SONIC this morning and one of the car hops (girl was about 16) came out to take a picture. She said, "everyone inside is going CRAZY!"
These cars are TIMELESS!

My wife will no longer go to dinner with the GT because it gets more attention than she(my wife) gets. Cannot leave her without observation because 1/15 will lean on her and touch the gt with their rings on and keys hanging out their back pocket.

As I was facing the car, I kept a close eye on who is taking pictures and how close they got to the car, of course that kept my eyes wondering away from the gal I was with, she thought I was checking out the passer by hotties :rofl

No less than 3 cell phone pics among regular hoopla just cruising around today in spectacular weather :lol

You ain't LIVED 'til you about run over a loon with a cell phone camera who jumps out into traffic in front of ya (from between parked cars) to take a pic. 'Unbelieveable... :willy

I'm "more scared" of the Suburbans & Tahoes traveling at 100 MPH chasing me down with someone hanging out of the sunroof with their cell phone taking a pic! :eek:eek

Great, I have the wife convinced now so I just need to find her. Hurry Shelby

Dang a single guy here...I thought I was the only stud

Awesome day here in SoCal...went into the office for awhile and needed to gas up before heading home...the GT drew people so fast it was like hummingbirds to the last feeding of the day. Sure feel blessed to be able to own and enjoy such an automotive icon. :thumbsup

Forgot to mention, going South on PCH I passed a Black Silver GT heading North in Corona Del Mar, we both waived, are you a forum member ?

Damn, it's -32 here today ... yes.. it's a deep freeze outside.

The scary thing is some folks will follow you home to "chat" about the car - has happened on three occassions now - thinking about getting a gun!

I think I posted here before when I took mine to the South of France - at one point on the freeway I had the vehicle behind taking pictures, the one alongside AND the one in front. It was actually a dangerous situation as I was the only one paying any attention to the road.

I was also surrounded by about 10 people or so whilst quietly eating a sandwich at a gas station - it felt very odd!
