Thank you for the info. Will check when I get home today. I've heard about 5 years as well for "aging" tires especially if you plan to track the car. Mine are probably older though so I may change them depending on how old. Will have the verdict when I get home! Thanks again

I just got a rear set from tire rack. International shipping was very fast. I got a very fresh DOT from July this year. Thanks to Chad.
By the way the front tires are much "cheaper" here than in the US, I advice to check European prices first. Shipment should be around 130USD

Has anyone using the Bridgestone 345/35/19 and 265/40/18 tires had any tire contact with the inside edges of the fenders ? Does this happen with standard suspension or replacement with lowered ride height ?

Thanks , the comments were very helpful . I am having trouble finding a diagram that shows the lifting points for lifting the car to remove the wheels so I can change the tires . Can anyone help with that , the dealer I've used since buying the cars hasn't been able to help .

I personally think nitrogen is of no real benefit, especially for what some places charge. But our Costco has two free tire air filling stations that seem to dispense nitrogen... Does it hurt? Probably not. Does it help? Who knows. But if it doesn't cost anything, and it's one of the only places I know of that doesn't charge to fill tires, why not? It does say it won't operate if below 15psi so no empty/refill but a go down to 15 a couple of times and you get 1/2 or so every time.

Ordered a set of Bridgestone tires from Bill a few weeks ago. Tires arrived promptly and had them installed today at a local family owned tire shop (not chain) which has been in business for decades. Had the tires mounted on the standard wheels so I can preserve the option wheels that came with the car. Plus I like the standard wheels more. After the tires were mounted I noticed the little yellow dots on the tires didn't line up with the valve or the with black markers on the wheels. Asked the tech mounting the tires if he knew the significance of the dots on the tires and wheels, he had no idea what they represent or what to do with them. His senior supervisor said they are there just to let the factory know "they're done". The store owner knew vaguely what the markers represent but said he never paid any attention to them for as long as he's been in business. Question to the experts here, what do you think? Shouldn't these markers be used in mounting and balancing the tires or can they be totally ignored?

Always thought those marks were part of quality control going down the assembly line? But I’m hoping and sure someone here will have a better and more interesting answer. Main thing is aren’t the Bridgestones day and night apart from the old Goodyear’s?
