Tire manufacture date FYI

After much reaserch on this site finally purchased new Bridgestones 335/35R-19 Scuds and 265/40ZR-18 N1 (Porsche) XL from Tire Rack. Was concerned about manufacture date. The dude was helpful but said they did not have staff to go into the warehouse and eyeball the Manu date. He would, however, assure the ship date from the manufacturer to Tire Rack as late 2011 and mid 2012 respectively. The tires arrived next day with build dates of 12/11 and 6/12. Nice experience with Tire Rack. Can't wait to get them mounted.

Can't imagine how they could check dates for people. I order from Indiana and my tires are shipped from Delaware (even though they don't list it as a distribution center). I have bought several sets of tires from Tire Rack and they have always been fresh. Not always the cheapest though.
