The long wait is almost over... Ode to the Ford GT

Here we sit broken hearted
The GT vetting hasn’t started

January, February and March have past
Hope the process arrives here fast

GT owners sit and wait
While those in the know feed us bait

At the computer into the wee hours
Waiting for the word from the great Ford towers

Dreaming of the Phoenix while we sleep
Counting GT’s rather than sheep

Praying in the morning, afternoon and night
That each and everyone one of us will get the green light
