Thank you to Hennessey Performance Engineering / Lonestar Motorsports Park

The Hennessey twin turbo supercharged GT did the 11.0 sec 139 run while the best time of our GTs was my 11.1 sec 133 mph (I cheated since I had LC/TC). The Caddy wasn't close.

Ed

My best time of the day was 11.46 @ 131mph with a pulley and tune, set @ 93 octane on street gas.

Love Those Canadians!

nsfkid - Was that during your first run or your 26th run? LOL! It was funny that finally the guys running it had to call it quits. I think you got the most runs at the Mile also!

The problem was, the drivers got all nervous with the big burnouts from the Caddy.....

Thank you guys so much for coming! I got to the track later in the afternoon after running our other Cadillac at the Texas Mile (185 mph). So sorry that I missed many of you. But I am glad yall came over and had fun. See you guys again sometime soon.

That was one of the earlier runs. I did 24 runs (I have all the slips! all pretty consistant)
and my wife did I think 4-5 runs with a top speed of 128
A really good day
Great food, great people, Probably could have been faster if I had not eaten so much:banana

Fun meeting you and your wife at the Mile and Hennessey's.

That's great that you and your wife both did so many runs! :thumbsup

He must have been taking it easy on that run.:wink

On the way to Goliad he went by me in a blur.:driving:
I looked down and I was at 105 mph.

Mike it was good to meet you and Carrie (sp?).
You both definitely appeared to be having a good time and making the most of it all week.

Thanks again to John and Dave and everyone at Hennessey Performance Engineering for having us out. HPE is a real first rate facility and they had a couple real good reps for the product in Mullet and MarkH beating the snot out of their cars at the Rally, including Mullet setting the standing mile standard for Ford GT's at 226 mph. It was much appreciated guys.

The troopers that showed up were real men to make it after all the driving we did the first three days. Nice work gang.

Thank You Hennessey Performance Engineering for the nice lunch, factory tour and letting us play on your race track.

It was fun seeing the GT's doing the 1/4 mile. Not their usual venue. And a few first time drag racers. As we all know it's not as "easy" as it looks.

And to watch Clinton & Special Ed just hammering their GT's. Full Throttle on the rev limiter...pop-pop-pop...Traction Control On, drop the clutch and GO-GO-GO! Very Impressive.

Fun Stuff.

And a fitting end to Rally IV.
