After a couple of discussions with our forum member Tim Cantwell, I purchased my first hand gun ever, XD-45 - not my last. Off to the range next week for some fun and practice.

Man this place is becoming a gun nutz hang out! :lol

Congrats Sam and welcome to the XD family ....

Good gun I have the XD-40 and Steve will appreciate that I bought an M1A Springfield with new parts on it the other day as well..can't wait to get it to the range.

Welcome to the crazy club..you'll love the XD

When my son in law got his first tattoo, I told my wife I was going to do something crazy too. Got an XD 9 mm. Now looking to get a Mossberg M500 Rolling Thunder. She cant shoot the 9 mm due to arthritis but a friend let us try his M500 Persuader and she could handle it. Not exactly a skeet gun.

Now looking to get a Mossberg ..................

Thanks for supporting my business.:biggrin

We make a number of componets for Mossberg.:thumbsup

Buy more Mossberg, and I can buy more GT stuff.:cool

Then think of me every time you drive your GT Fred. As many 590's I've owned or directed people to ... :bored

Matt!!! Congrats on the new acquisition! Between you and Dave (and myself) I need to open a gun shop. :willy:willy

Shoot straight, be safe, and enjoy!

I have a couple of Mossbergs, both model 500's the first issued by the Police department I worked for, the second a tactical model for home defense. No home is safe without one!

I have 2 Mossbergs. Great value gun, reliably does the job at a low cost point. I added ghostring sights and a Surefire lighted forend with a 120 lumen LED bulb to one of them. Wherever the light shines is where the buck will go. So no sights are need in the dark.

Both of mine have AR-15 style colapsible stocks. One has rifle sights, the other ghost rings. I am fitting rails and lights/lasers to both. There are a variety of really neat lethal and non-lethal loads to suit every type of home environment. It's the best home defence weapon I can think of (other than Sam's XD-45!)

Some days its like gun haven at my shop.

Since "the election" we have been building machines for every gun guy on the planet. When the machine is done they send it several of every part to run prior to shipping.

Now I have special gun guys walking in the door asking if I can engrave this or laser that????????

What have I done. If you see a mark on your gun chances are we made it.

Please be double careful at the range

Ralphie... you want me permanently banned don't you. :bored

I just put it up there for everyone to look at -

not for comments

I don't want anyone to get banned from the forum. Obviously we all have our opinions about it (and they're probably all in agreement). If you have issues - write your legislators

Agreed. But taking it a step further... meet directly with someone in their local office and express your concerns about it face to face. I have on a couple of issues and have received calls from my reps to talk about the issues. A letter or email these days just gets lost in the mix ... a face to face never does.

IMHO.

Bought a XDM 40 last november. Most accurate of all the handguns I own.
