MarkH's Hennessey car went 261 mph to start the morning.

Only 2 mph off their own record.

Hope he smashes the record!

Hoping for 280! - - :thumbsup

What are the conditions like today? Wind, temp, DA?

267.6 mph :party

Wow, keep going boys.

Once again, spending my weekend living vicariously through others. Go get em

Will try and get word on what Magic or the MRL car were able to do. Saw a pic of Magic's car on the starting line:

GO MAGIC GO!!! I hope you get your 200 goal buddy!

Yeah he ran a 267 today. Morning conditions were better, temps in low 70's I think, and there was a strong tailwind. He had his best run in the afternoon when it warned up into the 80's and the wind died. Would have been a 270-275 run IMO earlier in the day. The whipple guys had dropped from 196 to 191, and the stocker dropped about 5 mph as well. My best and only full speed run was in the afternoon at 179.3 with a pulley and tune. Hoping for better conditions and less people tomorrow.

Well the good news is the weather tomorrow looks like it's record breaking material, especially depending on which way that wind is blowing. 70 and sunny, doesn't get much better than that. Good luck! 180 is nothing to sneeze at as is!

No sir, but 185 would be "veddy niice!" There is also a Canadian GT here this weekend, not sure if y'all heard about it, black tt running 220-230 ish, 1300 rwhp. It says pizza delivery on the side, pretty hilarious. Ill snap a pic tomorrow

Yeah, check the thread in tech started by MRL. Hopefully they get 235-240 tomorrow. It's a 4.2L Kenne Bell supercharged car, so that would be quite a feat for a blower car.

Did MRL run today?

Soroush has the record for a blower car without turbos, but he had some gas that day.

I'm assuming that's what daytrayd meant. Sounds like they went 220-230.

Got word that the 260+ mph Camaro from last year crashed pretty bad a short time ago. Hoping everything turns out ok.

I guess I should remove my side mirrors to go faster. :biggrin

I saw an FGT (dark blue or black) run 217 mph today. Not sure if it was the pizza guy or Dolph the Frostee Factory guy. Several FGT there.

A couple of the guys that went to the location of the wreck came back with a thumbs up so I thought everything was OK. Broken legs....ugh so painful but glad he's alive

He is in CT scan now. In good spirits but in a lot of pain. Scott (my hubby and KP tech) and Amber are with him.
He was clocked at 190mph upside down.

The Canadian GT pizza car went 221 today, my best was a 197.2 and Dolph's best was a 196 something (cant remember exactly) We are hoping for good cool weather in the morning. Its been really fun as Dolph and I both have done seven runs each and we have been within 1 - 2 miles of each other almost every run. And yes Mark H's car ran a 267 and then the Camaro went out at end of day and had a BIG crash near the end of the run and we are hearing broken legs but otherwise ok. I sure hope that is the case.

No broken bones for Joe in the camaro! Sounds like hit is just bruised up some and no head injuries!
