The new clutch is in, the stock one went out after the 924RWHP pull headed for 950RWHP about 6 weeks ago. This so far as I know is the highest HP stock motor TTGT that exists and I am not even close to done tuning it yet. This car has exceeded my expectations on so many levels. As my good friend Joe said in the video I want to cry with happiness every time I drive it. Traction has seem to gone away until 3rd gear now.

End result from my personal calibration work :

903RWHP Pump gas
1046RWHP Race gas – higher numbers to come

Both tunes are incredibly safe in regards to AF and timing. I still have a lot more work to do. Also note this run was done about 10 minutes after the one prior no long cool down / no ice.

Sweet jesus, when will it end? :eek

Unbelievable how robust the stock motor appears to be. Double the stock power level and it's chugging along. Do you have your own in-house dyno to play around with it? :cheers

I must say, as a lifelong Mopar guy who has seen some big numbers out of built wedge strokers, I am truly amazed at the results you guys are getting from the GT motor. To see those kinds of power levels without major internal work is mindblowing. Nice job Curt Hill (engine designer), all you maniac tuners, and big ballz on you Torrie and Joe for trying (and failing) to blow that motor!

1000rwhp? Jeeeeeeeeeezus Keeeeeeeerist! :thumbsup

Torrie that graph is a thing of beauty. The torque curve is really unbelieveable. You're gonna need a tire company to sponsor you soon!

I see you pushed it past 6500. Nascar motors run around 9000 r.p.m. What do you think is a safe redline for this engine?

I'll let you know when I get more time on the Dyno with it ! I initially bought this Dyno years ago and sold it to Tony so its the same one Joe's car utilizes. And with Tony and I being good friends as well as both being in the building horsepower business he lets me use it on my personal vehicles when I need to.

Curt and all of the roush guys involved most of which I met and took out for rides after the rally in allen park should be extremely proud. We wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them. The car was only at the 860 range then ! They all have free lifetime passes in the passenger seat. :cheers

The motor will take a max of around 7400rpm, or so I'm told. I wouldn't want to test that theory though, so mine goes up to 7000. Even with the P/T it doesn't make that big of a difference to pull past 6600 anyhow...

I shift at 7k and leave a little room with the limiter set to 7250.

From 4000 to 4700 rpm the engine gained 400 hp, wow, hold on!

Oh yeah once the needle swings past 4k you better hold on tight because the outside world becomes blurry

Congrats Torrie.

Great news, and just a few weeks after a stock longblock 4.6 DOHC did 1000 rwhp.

Ford did something right with these engines!

thanks and enlighten me as to what your referring to ?
