one thing for sure ,I will be looking at the beast tomorrow.

Very cool. What a great piece of Ford history.
Does anyone know why the wheels didn't make it beyond this stage?

I have one of the Chicago auto show vinyl posters of the yellow one from 2003 and a 68 version above it. I was told at the time that it ran.

I don’t know why ,but it is so cool! I heard its going to be at Rally 10

Because it is the car in it's simplest most artistic form?

Mad, actually I am somewhat surprised this comment/question did not surface until the 25th post.....

It ALWAYS comes up.

I think it comes up cause those wheels are so dang beautiful and fit the design of the car so well.

What it morphed into is what I would call the base wheel.

For djs, I think it was an offset issue. Interference with something inboard IIRC. Why they could not overcome that with changing the backspace, like custom wheel builders do day in and day out, I cannot answer. Maybe too expensive for what they get in return??

That thing is just plain cool.
Not sure I would want to own a car that can't run on it's own power, but, to each....................!

When I saw this car and it's relatives (in photos), that was it for me. If it ever came to production in a form close to what was in those photos, images and drawings I was going to have to own one. Fortunately for all of us it did. I feel very lucky to have gotten the one that I have.

Drove the GT for a few hours today and it reminded me once again of just how special it really is.

Thank you, Camilo and the entire team that made this rocket a reality.
