FL Chris asked about my wheels on the yellow car. So far we simply painted the spokes gloss black, added yellow Ford GT logos on the black calipers, did the bumper delete, T&A lowering sleeves, Heffner exhaust, and will add the Heffner pully, tune and Ford Racing short shifter, and added a simple silver pinstripe to the outside of the black top stripes (matches the silver outer rims.) Here are some pics.

Looking real good :cheers

Very, very nice. I have often envisioned what would be the best look for a yellow car, and I think you nailed it. I would be curious how it would look with inner lip of the rims touching the spokes in black also, leaving the outsde lip polished. Maybe take some temporary paint (water base) and paint one side by hand and stand back. If it doesn't look good, wash it off.

Looks fantastic. More pics please....

Tim,

Looks Great.

You got the look down pat for the Yellows.

Yes, as David says "MORE PICS PLEASE"

Looks awesome!

Can we get a better pic of the Silver on the top stripe?

Looks good Tim. Thanks for posting the photo. I am having my Yellow GT rims painted all black. I will post 'em up when they are done.

I like the idea of all black. I am painting my wheels on my pearl yellow Lamborghini Gallardo a "dark smoke" gray this winter. Looks bad on a yellow car for sure!

Here are a couple more, front and a close-up of the silver pinstripe (if you can see it!)

That looks fantastic. it's sure to make the other gals in the garage jealous.

Very classy! I definately like it! Way to go! :thumbsup

these pictures don't even come close to showing how incredible this car looks in person. When I was in your garage, Tim, I had a hard time keeping the drewl from running down my face. I have serious Yellow car envy and it just keeps getting better! Beautiful!

Oh man, that is badasssss.....it just screams: "I am going to kick you ass".

Side view please????

Humm.. looks great but it needs a CF hood... :biggrin . Leave the area where the stripes go Natural CF... now that would be cool !! :thumbsup

Thanks for asking, I'm still using only nine fingers, and see the surgeon next Tuesday. It looks like surgery is in the cards for my near future. I hope that it can be fixed!

Favorite pics of tims car

I took these shots when visiting Tim a couple months ago. I LOVE the back shot of the YLO GT. The heffener pipes look really good with the absent rear bumper. The second shot shows how low the YLO GT and the Blue one are compared to the Gallardo.

That is very intersting to see how low and wide the GT is next to both the Ferrari & Lambo. Not to mention a much better "back end" looking car the GT is compared to the others.
