SoCal Spring Run...Where Do We Go??

Ok Guys and Gals,
We need to start planning our SoCal Spring GT Run now. Where are are we going and when do we go??
Just to remind you all about how much fun we have, here is a short video of last Spring's roads, courtesy of Kendall who set the course.
We need new guys to step up and lead the way. Give us your route so we can let it happen!

Yeah, I saw that Ralphie, and I remember you saying it was a fantastic trip.
However, my "little girl" is graduating from SMU in Dallas that weekend.
 
I think a run to Julian, Lunch, back up along 79 to 371, through Anza, stop at the Casino, then maybe up to Idyllwild, then out Hwy 74 to Palm Desert and back on the I-10. Like the orignal Bony Memorial Run.

Those roads and areas have always worked well for us.
There has been some chatter in the past about the Ojai/Santa Barbara area as well.
Anybody else have some additional ideas??
 
Ojai > Santa Barbara is crowded, construction by Ojai all the time. Coming back out of SB is murder on the 101. Only run to do there is 101 > 33 > to west Ojai > 33> through Los Padres to 166 > 3 miles east to Cerro Noroeste, along Mt. Pinos east to Frazier Park then take the 5 south. Major distance for OC and SD members. Julian is more central for everyone. 400 miles round trip to Julian for us on West side of LA, but generally open roads, until the return on the 60 or I-10.

I like Temecula to Julian that a good run on the 79.
 
I'm game for any drive with this group is a blast. :party Big bear was good, Temecula to Idlewild are great, Malibu is always fun. Just post where and when.:driving::cheers::driving:
 
I too am open for any good routes, just need to make sure I can find a break to catch up with all ya.
The Julian run or Palm Springs are pretty good drives without too much traffic. Havent been over Ortega Hwy in a while, not sure how crowded it gets.
Hope to see everyone soon.
 
The Los Padres run is great but way far for OC and SD owners............. :-)
 
Gonna bump this for Kevin who reminded me about the Spring Run. Need the wheres and whens. And I don't want to hear anything from anyone about it being 'too far'. Assuming the dates don't conflict with work (or my wife:)) I'd be coming down from Central CA for his (read: 3-4 hours just to get down there, excluding the run itself).

Ha. I'm up for that, but I'm 3-4 hours closer to NorCal than them:)

I am ready to hand off planning the next SoCal Spring Run to the next volunteer.
I enjoyed working with Kendall, Sam, Eric and others and it's time for someone else to step up.
I know many of you guys have ideas of what you would like to do!
