so i finally bought a car lift....

i got a Bendpak 4 post lift. the model is a HD-9XW

it will lift all 4 of my race cars including my Ford GT and all 3 of my trucks including my Ford F-250 Superduty :biggrin in fact it is rated to lift 9,000 lbs up to 82 inches high....

i bought it from Summit Racing and it cost me $3,010 with shipping :thumbsup

When I ordered mine they were in matching blue. I speced black, and may ramps are also black.

Yes, well that was back in the old days. Now you can spec lift color, but there is no ramp color option. Ramps are yellow. Maybe you can special order ramp color. Money buys anything.

Maybe someone sued Bendpak after hitting their head on a ramp they said they didn't see and the attorney made the case that Bendpak was negligent for not painting the ramp a more noticeable color.

The V-Max is actually a 2009 Star V-Max with a 240 mm wide rear tire/wheel conversion. the other bike is a 2001 Honda CBR-929 RR Erion Race bike with a built motor and Nitrous, etc....

Got the BendPak with a "double wide, put two cars up at once, with 4 posts. Same blue, but I have blue ramps. My GT is "lowered" and I need the "race ramps" to get it on without ripping the bottom off.

These steel ramps are ridiculously heavy, especially when you compare them to the race ramps!

I have the same lift. Bought it last fall. No one in my area available to install it but with a few friends and a little time definitely a can do. I purchased optional aluminum ramps which are much lighter and drip trays (for my Italian cars which always leak).

Yep, same one I bought twice. I first bought the regular one and once I put my fat arse Ferrari on it I thought I should rethink my decision. I called up Bend Pak and they not only said they would change out my unit with the extra wide, they would pick up the other one for free. I think that is great service. Ok so it's sitting in the bay that has the Rotary 2 post lift, but the 4 post lift is to the left.
