Decided to run the G.T.350 along the Pacific Coast Highway yesterday for the July 4th weekend. Sun finally came out, enjoyed the feel of 1966 289 ci High Performance Ford Engine. Car ran perfectly!

Gorgeous car, absolutely love it!

Just gorgeous. Every time I see the old batteries, it just cracks me up. Makes me think of my Dad checking the water levels in them. 65 battery was in the trunk, no?

Now I see your true color love.

As soon as I saw the picture, I knew you'd be in here somewhere Frank.

Great car!

Must have really turned some heads on the PCH, including some in those marvelous motor homes who must have said, " Golleee, what the helllll was that" as you went blasting by!

Such a sweet ride Doc!

Well, we'll just have to have the summertime, S Ard Ford GT Appreciation Day, without you ! There was a time when you were a fairly staunch So Cal Motor head ! :cheers

Actually, trunk-mounted battery in 1965 GT350 was limited to the first 300 cars, after that, they moved the battery back up front.

Beautiful GT350 - had three of them many years ago. A real fun car that would keep your arms (due to quick-ratio manual steering) and legs (due to sintered metallic brake linings) in shape! :lol Much more fun than going to the gym!
