Shadowman's AP/Stillen Brake Evaluation


Thanks Ed. I did see them (most impressive btw). I was requesting a photo of kmillen's brake duct work if possible.

Why are the rear rotors larger w/the AP setup?

I tested the AP Racing/Stillen brakes at Sears Point (aka Infineon Racway) on Saturday. They peformed phenomenally. No fade in 25 minute sessions and scary negative Gs when braking to the point of the anti-lock taking over. I was very happy with the OEM setup but there is definitely a huge step up in performance with the AP/Stillen brakes. The rotors and pads held up well and still have more track days left plus many more miles of road going.

I can, without any hesitation, recommend the AP/Stillen brakes for road and/or track performance or even as a wow/visual upgrade. I wish I would've had them long ago.
