Shadowman; Another Nice Personal Touch

Over the past couple years many have located and installed some cool signature emblems/badges for the rear of the gals however none of them have been specific to our gals.

Here are a couple pictures of a CNC machined aluminum badge that was designed specifically for the gals. It uses the same OEM script design and has two standoffs that fit into the rear mesh panels with a machined receiving collar all of which is secured with a small stainless steel button head socket cap screw. In addition to this there are two small o-rings placed on the standoffs prior to installation so that no marks are placed on the OEM mesh panel.

I think I saw that also on the tail of F Enzo. Very nice.

EDIT - Oops, his "GT" is more along the lines of

G
T

Done in Orange for the heritage, it's also very nice. 2nd picture, first post of this thread http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12331

We created a very short run of these with no intention of marketing them; simply a personal boutique piece however I do have few that I can make available.

PM me if interested

Shadow, please put me down for the GT emblem. Do they come in silver, or just gold. Thanks Frank

Hi Frank

I must be near the worst when it come to taking pictures; they were CNC machined out of aluminum; no gold only silver finish.

These emblems are available at any Ford dealership - used on the front quarter panels of Mustang GT's. Use Scotch (3M) Exterior Mounting Tape, #4011 and cut to attach to part. This tape is weather resistant.

Now, I need someone to pinstripe the "GT" on the license plate for the same effect.

Thank you for sharing Ralphie; the badge that you elected to use looks nice however they are not the same as those we fabricated.

We began this project with a clean piece of paper wanting to create a badge that fit and was secured as OEM, it was to be sized so as to fit within the screen as a subtle detail piece when compared to a bulls-eye, and we also wanted a piece that was of the quality of finish befitting of and exclusive to these gals; our mission was a success.

The pictures that I presented were soley for the purpose of sharing a personal touch item when compared to soliciting a product for sale because as I made mention of we only machined a small number of these truly very cool boutique pieces.

All the best

I still prefer Shadow's..... Much more appropriately sized... Magnetic look ! :wink

Upon reflection, I think it was inappropriate for me to post that alternative in this thread. I was only trying to respond to Dr. Frank's query re a silver finish. Thus, I have deleted the post, and appologize for placing it here.

Your CNC'd logo is quite nice and a compliment to both the vehicle and yourself.

Since the Shadow isn't marketing his very nice GT emblem and only has a limited run, mine has FORD between the G & the T, if memory serves. Someone on the Forum turned me (and others) on to them. Can't recall who now.

Thank you for the concern for me

As shared early on only a limited number of these boutique pieces were fabricated and for the fortunate few they have all found homes.

I'm planning on having it mounted through my umbilicus (belly button for the medically challenged). Won't need anymore belt buckles. This has more uses than you can imagine.

Shadowman:

Thank you for the emblem. Is there anyway you could do a small run the same size that have just "TT"? I think it would look great on my heffner TT car. I am sure others would agree.

Thanks again.

Chris

Yes, no, maybe ........ let me see what can be done

Let me know (if possible) a number because in the end this will play a big part in the equation.
