I bought it from Shelby and he painted the wheels and calipers and put on some Potenza's. He shipped it to California, Shadowman did the decals, painted the mirrors, added an ipod dock, adjusted the seat to fit me at 6'5", added the period correct decals from the 1969 Lemans Winning GT40 Car# P1075.

It comes to my house Tuesday. Only 280 miles on her, she will be driven. I am driving her to Vegas on her Maiden Voyage January 7th.:banana

Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your project.

Now I have to say that she looks "HOT"!! ; a bit busy for me personally because I like to fly under the proverbial radar however I have no doubt that she will be a great hit wherever she goes.

I can hear it being said; “Gentlemen; start your engines”

Here is another picture to gander at

Takes care

Very nice!

Looks schweeeet!

Curious - how did you handle the Ford nose emblem? It appears to have a laminate over it as opposed to being painted.

It's not 100% complete, Shadowman has it until Monday.

Shadowman had recently completed the clear bra wrap on the front and has not yet installed the blue oval. I assure you it will be there guys! Car looks nice Mike!
Was a pleasure working with you.....

Congrats Mike, let us know when you'll be headed to C&C.

Beautiful!:thumbsup

The mirrors were a late edition to the project, Shadowman did it yesterday. I saw a continuation GT at the All Ford Show at Knot's berry farm with the orange mirrors and that's when I decided I was buying a real GT.

Here is the car I saw, watch the video:

Gentlemen,

How do you notice all this stuff??? I would not have seen that if you had not pointed it out. Somebody will post a picture on this forum and another member will invariably chime in with something like...."Hey, 3 cars back in the garage behind that GT is a 66 Mustang that has 65 Mustang turn signal lenses! What's the deal with that?"
:lol

I never notice any of that stuff!

Chip, Spill the beans. Whats the latest on your Yellow GAL? :confused

I think he is talking about the missing badge on the front clip. Are you having a clear bra put on the car? That would explain the missing Ford emblem.
