Kayvan- Thanks for again posting the Roush SAE paper links. It is nice to remind new commers to this site of the significant amount of design engineering Fred's team performed on our cars. And they documented their work in these technical journals as well.

For others interested in these aspects, (or the whyd they do thats on our cars?) the SAE has compiled a book "The Ford GT" SAE publication number PT-113 which not only has the above two papers but 9 additional engineering papers on our new model GT's AND seven additional papers on the original GT-40 program from their archives.

Very interesting reading indeed.

Now this is one engineering book I wil read.....dropped out of Cornell Engineering to switch to Economics, which paid for the GT!
