Hi guys,

I'm trying to decide on a powertrain for my 1970 Mercury Cyclone restomod.

Considering this 427 EFI stroker from Roush, coupled to a T56, with a Heidt's front suspension complete with rack and pinion....

Look at the "427 IR" engine.

Any advice/suggestions?

Put a new in the crate

I couldn't find a price. Any idea what it is? Might be nice in my '67 stang.

whatever it is make sure it has twin turbos.

Pull Hot Rod mags from the last 6 months. 427 cammer from all new parts $21,000 not including assembly. 1-2 months back from that John Kaase Racing kit for 429/460 block to make Boss 429/460 fairly cheap and period correct for a cyclone.

This month they featured a Boss 351, almost terminator level HP on all motor.

Ahem, I wholeheartedly second this man's statement :lol:lol:lol

put a ford gt motor in it, I know where you can get one.:lol

It's around $20k, give or take, including the 8 stack setup and all electronics.
