Hmm. Shelby bought it. Wonder what he actually paid. I can't believe he paid that price because I haven't seen him sell anything that high. I know someone that just bought a "new" Heritage for 181k. 190 for a black?

Mr. Shelby?

Market seems to be between 145k to 185k depending on color and mileage.

Red being the least expensive ... heritage or no stripe car with low,low miles being the highest.

156-158 seems to be the median for a car with 2k-4k miles.

I think it also depends if it is a 2005 or 2006, the options, miles and of course the condition of the paint and if was involved in a recall.

List for a 2006 was 167k with all four options.

Some colors do demand more money, causing a 10 grand fluctuation.

Recall?

The early 2005 A-arm recall, although I know it involved few cars and Ford replaced them.

I know that I asked this question when I looked at 2005 models.

Fyi even the post recall '05s got billet arms. They are beautiful.
I prefer the billet look. :)

I know that now.

I am just referring to that as an item someone may ask if they are in the market and not know, like me, that the the replacement arms were great.

It just might affect the price in the market, but maybe not....

Yes I purchased that car. And yes I paid less than $188k, BUT I paid more for that car than any car to date as I have a waiting list on BLACK cars about 6 people deep! I have that car PRE-SOLD. Also, I have a BLACK NO STRIPE car coming with 1k miles. 06, Wheels, Mac, Calipers. If anyone wants it better inquire now as its gonna sell VERY QUICK! ( not gonna be cheap either )

P.S. By the way DBK, on the guy that got the NEW heritage for $181k..... He just GOT LUCKY.... I would pay that for a NEW one as I have several people wanting a heritage. My last two used heritage cars sold for more than that.

Well guys, I have a red FGT, 2005, two years warranty remaining, and I love red as the color and would have no other, except the Heritage. So, no 155 will NOT buy this man's FGT. Why do you think Ford made so many of them? Because it's an unpopular color? I don't think so. Black is as hard as hell to keep clean and scratches show like crazy, though it looks great when it's right. White just doesn't seem to shine as much, at least to me. And for me, silver gets boring after the second week. Yellow is just a bit over the top. Now the blue, well, I can't argue that one. I like it an awful lot too. But the point is, these are just one man's opinion, and I bought what I like as we all did. They are all beautiful what ever color. In the end, I wouldn't sell mine for 150+. Had that offer by a broker. Refused. It's still not for sale. So how abut easing up on us sensitive red car owners!

Roger I am 99.9% positive it was just a joke :wink

Red GTs are absolutely beautiful.

Tell those red/green color blind bozos off Roger! I'm with you!

The red car guys all have tiny little willys :)

Now Roger will write how less is more and it is how you use your willy. :)

White Power :)

I dont think anyone has or ever will argue the fact that red is a great color. The facts at hand are that they command a little less money as there are more of them to chose from which causes the sellers to be somewhat competative and sell the cars for lower prices.
