Has anyone encountered one turn signal blinking twice as fast as the other. The bulbs work fine - it just blinks twice as fast. Any idea why this is happening?:confused

Burnt bulb somewhere

I have the same issue on the other side. Turn it on and go tap the headlight assembly lightly, it should work. I think it's loose.

Thanks for the responses guys. I will investigate further. I was assuming that if the bulbs worked properly that the bulbs and wiring were OK. I am used to seeing a bulb burnt out when the blinker flashes faster on other cars I've had.

I had the same issue with my car and Roush told me it was factory indicator that a bulb needed to be replaced.

Thanks Rob! I'll start there.

Check the levels on the blinker fluid.

Hey dbtgt, I have the same issue. Can you let us know what you ultimately determine - bulb needing replacement? How do you figure out which one if it's not burnt out - trial & error? How difficult to get to the bulbs?

Thanks!

Check the levels on the blinker fluid.

:lol

Just what I was thinking.

It only happens when I'm towing the boat.:biggrin

you must turn left more than right and the blinker is insisting on you turning right to help compensate with the component wear and tear....

just a guess :wink

Thanks! You just saved me a lot of R&D time! :cheers

You know, some people pay big bucks for advanced technical support like this..........(personally, I'd run and find Shadowman!!!!)

I agree, but I'm trying to "do it my own self" first before I cry "Uncle" and call in the trained professionals!:biggrin

There is no harm in crying "Uncle" within this group; even I do it from time to time.

PM me and I will gladly assist you

Takes care

Shadow, be very, very careful about letting Okies call you uncle. Only Arkansas is worse.
