All that I have removed have the screen

Is it possible that it resides within meaning came off?

NO it does'nt even have the plug and the sump is not even machined to have the plug
Neil

This is truly a first because it is that large plug that is used to drain the sump.

Neil,

Can you take a photo the sump without machining for the plug?

your correct it is the drain on #400612 but #400089 only has a 16mm drain plug 2 inches further back on the same side.I will put it back on the lift and email you some photo's later today if you like
PS its Gimbles old trans.
