200-250 per year is correct

I thought I read an article that suggested the 200/100 deal was the first year, as 200 was the maximum manufacturing capacity for year one.

Who knows?

Probably a better chance to win tonight's Power Ball than get an NGT

Article says 200 Total just curious if this is tru or not?

It is not true according to what we have heard. That will be yearly production for 4-5years.

Maximum 250 per year.

distracted by romantic emotions ?

*LOL*

My take on the reports that are coming out in various sources, talk about a 2016 production of ~100 units. To me this makes perfect sense. At what point will production actually get going in 2016? So it might be a short production year, limited by the clock (and of course production will be slower in the beginning as well). Perhaps, then back on track for 2017 for the planned 250.

It needs to be in producction long enough for me to get mine!

The 100 unit is not production but US allocation. My dealer friend (who admits he is in the same kind of pool we are) said the number for US civilians was to be 125. The remaining 125 going to a US dealer owner pool (again, dealers buy a car for themselves, not for the floor), and the remainder of that then going to Europe and Asia markets, with a similar allocation policy to individuals.

stay relaxed :)

I've started listening and not getting worked up. Txviper and I have gotten in some bickering with others on one of the Viper forums about certain guys ordering, allocation, etc.

Saw a guy at Barrett Jackson yesterday that swore up and down his dealer has a car for him and that he had given him a 200K deposit. I told him of the allocation process and that he might want to go get his money back.

I heard a similar story tonight LOL... I was at a restaurant/bar on my way home tonight (very long day) and listened to a GM at a Ford dealer brag to a car guy and cute girl how their dealership ordered their 2016 GT last month, they had one deposit that backed out and one that may buy it...

Personally, I look like a homeless surfer, so I sat and listened amused.

He spoke about the White 2005 GT they had back in the day and claimed an MSRP of $250,000 and had offers back then at $350k which they turned down.

I mentioned that its a cool car and I didn't think allocations had occurred yet. "oh yes they have, and we have one"... What color I asked? "white with blue stripes like the first one we had".... I asked the price he said he thought $250k.

EF Hutton !!

Ur an old timer just like me !

Back in the 90s there was a Bentley Continental Convertible
(Eg, Rolls Corniche) parked on Wall St everyday with license "EF WHO"

Pretty sure it was one of heirs after sold to Amex or a big producer

Back in the summer of '05, a dealer in a nearby town who had an '05 white/blue (that he'd bought from another dealer!) 'held out' for $300K+...'was offered $275K...'refused it...'ended up sitting on the car 'til the fall of '07(?) whereupon he sold it at a loss for a bit under MSRP if I recall correctly.

Speaking of "and MSRP of $250,000"; that was the 'second sticker' price on #1079. :wink

whew.... I am glad I am on the list for one...
