The 6 hours of Nurburgring live on Motors TV, the commentary in French, a confortable sofa, and a good bottle of Bordeaux ... Even if the BOP is unfair, it will be a beautiful Sunday for a Ford GT’s fan.

And if the Ford GT is as fast along the race, as during the practice, it will be necessary to add Champagne.

E Cars and E Bikes have been drag racing for about 10 years. Some very wicked and fast machines.

And battery technology, motors (stators) etc have progressed rapidly.

Racing is racing, cars racing today will be vintage races real soon.

NURBURGRING Qualifying results :

Porsche (1: 54.007) / Aston (1: 54.352) / Porsche (1: 54.318) / FORD (1: 54.694) / Ferrari (1: 54.757) /
FORD (1: 54.807) / Ferrari / Aston.
 
The 6 hour of Nurburgring race was not exciting, and for us, it was disappointing.

The Ford GT finished 5 th and 6 th, behind a Ferrari, two Porsches and an Aston, each car being very close to the others.

Everything about the unfavorable BOP has been written.
Nothing to add, except that the superiority of the chassis of the Ford GT was absolutely obvious, but in the acceleration and in pure speed, the car was totally handicapped and dominated.
 
Why would a race team spend the big bucks to participate in a Crap Race like this knowing that your BOP add on's place you in a very uncompetitive position? Not worth watching! As I said before the DAMN PACE CAR could have finished ahead of the GT' S and maybe the winner's 1-2-3.
 
OH.... I could not even find the race on FS1 or FS2 or otherwise..... Was it today.?
They Did not broadcast here in the United States at all. ? No interest?
Or this this a year old thread someone posted....?

Andy I got up at 5 am expecting to watch it and could not find it as well. They did show a lot of cage fighting.
 
Watched F1 instead of this for real racing.
 
IMSA just announced yet more BOP tweaks, less horsepower to a couple of cars, but I think Ford only got a little tweak on fueling rate
